6-Word Stories
This is a Wired article from a few months back, and one that I loved at the time. It starts with this anecdote (which I love, even if I doubt its legitimacy):
Hemingway once wrote a story in just six words (“For sale: baby shoes, never worn.”) and is said to have called it his best work.
There’s something very appealing about the constraints of telling a story in 6 words, and it’s something I’ve been meaning to try since I read the article the first time. So, here goes, my first 6-word story:
Listening to iPod; never noticed bus.
